Oral Presentation Guidelines
Prepare Your Presentation
Length of presentation material should be in accordance with your time allotted. The total time allotted to each speaker is i
ncluding time for Q & A and speaker changeover (Contributed: 15 mins, Invited: 25 mins). Please refer to the Final Presentation Schedule for
actual presentation times. You are kindly requested to be at the presentation room at least 15 minutes before the session starts.

Upload Presentation File (Maximum File Size: 10MB) | Closes 07 Dec 2019, 2359
This service aims to enable presenters a secure and convenient way to access and transfer their presentation files to the session rooms, from anywhere.
Please follow these steps to upload your presentation slides:
You may also upload your presentation files directly to the computers in the presentation rooms.
Please bring your presentation files in thumb drives only.
1. Log-in to PPC16 portal with your Email Address and Password here
2. On the left menu, under 'Author Options', click 'Upload Presentation'
3. Follow the on-screen steps to upload/delete your presentation file(s)
Determine Your Audio-Visual Needs
Presenters are required to use the computers provided in the meeting rooms to present their materials.
Each presentation room comes equipped with a laser pointer and clicker, computer, LCD projector and screen.
The computers are being provided to Windows‐based PC users and configured with Microsoft Windows operating system.
Please bring your presentation files in Thumb drives only. For MAC laptop users who wish to present using their own laptops, please bring your own VGA adapter cable.
Create a Backup Copy of Your Presentation
We recommend that you bring at least 2 copies of your presentation to the meeting for backup purposes. Only thumb drives are acceptable
Give Your Presentation
Be considerate to the other speakers and audience by staying within your allocated time.
The allocated time for your presentation includes Q & A and speaker changeover.
Session Chairs will hold you to the allotted time. This is essential to ensure adequate time for questions and discussion as well as adherence to the schedule.
Please discuss the same material as reported in your abstract submission. At the end of the meeting, all presentation files will be destroyed.
Poster Presentation Guidelines
Locate Your Poster Board
Poster presentations will be held on Mon-09 Dec 2019 in Summit Rooms.
Poster boards are pre-assigned and marked with your Abstract ID. At least one author of your abstract is expected to be present during the poster session.
Adhesive tapes and scissors are available at the Poster Help Desk, nearby the poster boards. If you have special needs for your poster presentation,
please bring those supplies with you to the meeting.
Please feel free to approach the Poster Help Desk for assistance.

Prepare Your Poster
Each presenter will be provided a 1m wide x 2.5m high poster panel. The poster should be 1 x A0 size in vertical/portrait format, measuring 841 mm length x 1189 mm height maximum.Your presentation must cover the same material as the abstract submitted.
Place your Abstract ID, Abstract Title and Authors’ names prominently at the top of the poster to allow viewers to identify your abstract easily.
Presenter’s Name must be underlined and in Bold Letterings.
Authors’ names, e‐mails and address information must be provided in case the viewer is interested in contacting you for more information.
You have complete freedom in displaying your information in figures, tables, text, photographs, etc. in the poster.
A successful poster presentation depends on how well you convey information to an interested (but not expert) audience. You may wish to structure your poster by including the background of your research followed by results and conclusions
Remove Your Poster
Posters must be removed after the viewing time by 21:00. After 21:00, posters remaining on the boards may be removed and discarded. PPC16 will not be responsible for posters and materials left on poster boards after 21:00.
The Conference does not provide poster printing services. As such, it is the presenters’ responsibility to ensure that their posters are printed and ready for presentation before the Poster Session.
If you require poster printing services on-site, you can contact these service providers below. They are located near the Conference Venue.
